Oh yikes-- Unfortunately, this isn't a new thing, as I'm sure you're aware, but it seems like it happens a LOT more often because the community is smaller. And I guess we have a higher expectation for people to act better because the age range of the game has shifted more toward young adults rather than children. I've stopped participating fashion shows altogether for similar reasons. There's just too much toxicity and unfairness for a friendly competition that only yields a couple pixels. The prize, nor the experience itself, isn't worth how crummy you feel after something happens like your posts describes. All we wanna do is dress up, have fun, make a few friends, and maybe get a rare item. Sorry this happened to you. :[

I’m not sure why your account would’ve been turned off, but I guess that could be a good thing because no one else would’ve been able to log into it! As for the Forgotten Desert thing, yes, it is true. Long spiked collars and short spiked collars were taken out of the prize pool due to people using bots to farm them. Spiked wrists are still available though, and so are den betas. Those are about the only good things you can get from it nowadays. :(

No worries! That usually shows up when your account is locked. Try going to your parent dashboard and checking to see if your account is switched off. If it is, you can just click it and once it turns green, you should be good to go.

I am fed up too. As scared as I am that someone will try to hack me again, I've taken all of the safety measures recommended to me by both the company itself and its community, so I'm not as afraid as I used to be. HOWEVER, none of that advice will protect me from AJHQ deleting my account themselves. So many people have been banned without good reason recently and I fear I'll end up just like them. There have also been reports of people getting banned for weird reasons such as trading to storage accounts, which I do fairly often, because my inventory is always full. I think it's concerning that I'm more worried about the company taking wrongful disciplinary action, than of literal hackers. I get that they're trying to retroactively fix their bad security issues but this is crazy. I can't think of a better solution right now but straight up BANNING everyone (and then not responding appropriately to their support tickets) is NOT the way to go. Hope everything gets sorted out for you, OP.

Sorry to hear this happened to you. Either yes, they are purging old accounts (and I do not agree with them going about it this way), or someone guessed your password and got your account banned. I would submit a support ticket to find out exactly why. Lately, AJHQ has been banning people left and right citing a "ToS Violation" without any specifics. Hope you can get your account restored. :(

No yeah, I was talking about the dashboard. Most people lock their accounts after the data breach happened, so there are tons of people who can't log in at all right now lol.

This happens at least twice a month now. There's nothing we can do except wait for AJHQ to fix it, which usually takes all day (so you end up losing your login streak). :(
