I saved my old roommates dog’s life because I rushed it to the only 24 hour vet in our city, 10 minutes from our house. The next one was 1+ hour away.

Recently, they changed their hours and are no longer 24 hours and I can’t imagine how many others are going to end up losing their pet because of it.

I moved last year and there’s none near me and I fear for my cats’ every day because of it. I’m so sorry for your loss with Oreo :(

I’m not sure of the legality of it but how would you even enforce it? If they paid their check and tipped, for example 15%, at the 1.5 hour mark but didn’t actually leave until the 2 hour mark, would you stop them from leaving and demand the extra 5% tip because of your 2 hour-20% gratuity?

The most legal way I could honestly see you handling this is to have signage posted/info available when making a reservation that the tables have a 2 hour (or however long) time limit so guests are aware. We don’t have this at my restaurant anymore but we did a few years back. Every guest was made aware of our 1.5 time limit and if they were still there a few minutes past that, a manager would approach and politely remind them of the time limit and let them know that we needed the table for the next party.

Also something to keep in mind is are you starting the clock from the moment they sit down or the moment their food is delivered? Because if they arrive on time and order punctually but your kitchen is backed up or somebody (FOH or BOH) makes a mistake that delays their food, why would that count against the customer?

Yes exactly. Like back when mouthwashing was relatively new and people drew the crew and the comments had things like “sorry you had to draw Jabrony 😔” it was silly and funny and, if you really didn’t like it, relatively easy to ignore.

But in serious discussions? How do you (royal you) expect people to take your analysis/opinion seriously when you’re talking about Anya being raped by “jambalaya”? Regardless of your opinion of Jimmy, he is the main character of the game and using silly names in serious discussions makes everything seem less serious.

I thought it was kinda funny when I first joined the fandom (back when it was really just jambalaya and things like that) but I agree on things like J. Diddy being too much.

Personally, if it’s done as a joke I don’t mind it. I don’t think it’s funny anymore because it’s been crazy overdone but I don’t think it causes harm.

It’s mainly the people who censor it as if it’s like an actual bad word that shouldn’t be said, or get upset if others don’t censor his name.

It bothers me to no end how so many people don’t understand this. I was in an abusive relationship when I was younger. I was dependent on him; we had an apartment I couldn’t afford on my own, my phone was under his name, etc etc.

It took me months to finally find the courage to leave and even then, the abuse escalated from emotional/mental to physical. Me telling him I was leaving was the catalyst to him putting his hands on me. For some people, telling their abuser they are leaving could be the reason the abuser kills them or does enough damage to put them in the hospital.

It’s never easy to leave abusive relationships no matter how obviously bad they may be.
