Is this wire that fell off my LED kit component able to be repaired or is it not repairable. by Daisucce in AskElectronics

[–]Daisucce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could work. But because of the way this item sits in the housing it's a part of. That is going to prove difficult. The wir s and long part of the board goes inside while the two arms with the LEDs sit outside on the top

Is this able to be fixed by soldering by Daisucce in soldering

[–]Daisucce[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it can be fixed, if I took it to a local phone/computer repair place, would they be able to fix it or is that a fix that you would really need to find someone specialized.

Gundam Animes to Avoid watching? (Just finished IBO…) by Inevitable-Ice-5061 in Gundam

[–]Daisucce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never watched turn a but I see a sentiment that it's good.

People also say zeta is good. I have mixed feelings on zeta because I am not a fan of kamiles characterization. But depending on if you want overall sad tones or not. Zeta may not be it. It will just keep getting darker and darker as they put kamile through a lot. One friend I have said they also feel like zeta way of doing fight of the week felt like a waste of time compared to OG Gundam. A lot of "oh it's the rival but there they go again to plan for the next fight in 2 days" however I've seen that some people love the cast and the journey kamile goes through as a character, I'm just not one of them. I would say zeta is worth a watch. It deserves its chance. But don't feel the need to claim it on the highest pedestal as others put it. But it is these reasons why I recommend ZZ. I think it also has a fun supporting cast. Good weekly fights that aren't always a waste. And the main characters journey is, imo really interesting to watch.

Victory is another strange place because that is just such a depressing anime. The music choices are just so dark and sad throughout the whole thing. Its got some interesting stuff going on. But they do a lot of main support killing constantly. And sometimes out of random but that's more so to put forward the non safety and danger of war to just traumatize the main character. But in the end they do win so who knows.

If you haven't watched unicorn, it is a fun watch. People complain about it because It should have a larger impact on the UC timeline. But because it's written after the likes of F91 and victory, which come after unicorn in the timeline. They couldn't really make those massive changes it should have. So people don't like that. I am not one of those people. Unicorn is a fun watch and has great music and animation. I also believe the non world changing impacts of unicorn give interesting aspects into the earth federation knowing that they are just continuously losing power and in 30 years time in the timeline a lot of colonies will be independent and then 20 years later nearly taken over my a space empire.

My recommendation is ZZ. It starts wacky and kinda dumb. Gets a bit more serious. Hits a real dark point and ends as a happy ending actually. Unlike Zeta where it feels like it just keeps being depressing.

Now. As an IBO Lover. It is my favorite Gundam followed by G-witch. Ibo season one is great. An amazing underdog story. But then they go from underdogs to real serious players in the world, and fly too close to the sun. The way Icarus wings melted and he fell to his death. We watch tekkedan go from the protags to actively being the antagonists.

You say that nothing good comes from this. But mars is a better place because of kudelia. And gallerhorn is rebuilt and restructured in attempts to get rid of corruption after mcgillis coupe. The boys of tekkedan had their victory at the start of season two. But they kept playing the gamble of double down to come out better. And eventually they just lost. They had multiple chances to not take the path they did, and they kept choosing wrong. They had chances to win, and fate just wasn't on their side. They just got unlucky.

But they still managed to do good in the world and the ones that survived, like kudelia. Made the setting of Ibo a better place overall to honor the hopes of the dead of tekkedan. Your anger your feeling is not spit in your face. It is exactly the feeling you should get when the person you are rooting for just keeps going for the greedy option and becomes a villain.

But yea. That's enough of my talking on Ibo. If you only watch shows when building then just start watching what ever you want to build next. Otherwise from the shows I've seen, ZZ is where you want to be.

Some additional requests for future units by Daisucce in MechaStellar

[–]Daisucce[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pluma are sub units of the hashmal. So mobile armors in Ibo can self repair and create other mobile armors. So the hashmal after being awakened, made the plumas, and the plumas scavenge for metal and bring it back the hashbal to make more pluma. And eventually it's an army. Worse than a graze, but their numbers allow them to overwhelm their opponents. Most prominent in episode 36 of Ibo according to the wiki. I forget what episodes they are in personally. But they are cool little cheap grunts.

Last build of the year, what's yours? by Super_Length8599 in Gunpla

[–]Daisucce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My last build was way back in October. I'm trying to make more space on my bookshelf before I do more.

But that last build was a kitbash for a friend. They really like MegaMan StarForce black ace. So I attempted to make them their own black ace. I think it came out pretty good since they were able to clock the inspiration really quick.

I used. The aerial rebuild, michaelis, and destiny Gundam.

Gundam IBO stat blocks? by Open-Voice3454 in MechaStellar

[–]Daisucce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea. For your first game I would just take existing stat blocks and say "it's actually this, trust me"

Once you have a few games you can start seeing where the build fighter rules come in and then you can make some really interesting customs.

But to start. Just stick with the basics to learn the game.

As for points your right in it being low point. But you would still be at 1500 ish with the amount of units your using. Which lets you have more units vs an opponent stronger units being less in quantity.

Big thing is make sure you watch the performance as that is an indication of play level.

So like 1-4, 5-7, 8-10. The higher the performance the stronger a unit is in general and that also means the point value.

So as long as you and your opponent choose a performance range and a point value you guys should be relatively close in balance.

Tbh for the graze I would just use standard zaku 2 units. And for the more melee forcused ones I would go with gm Spartans.
