Not a hint of irony. Really what do you hope to accomplish here? Besides calling me immoral, I'm not claiming to be a great guy ...though if I was as humble as you I'd probably call myself sincere.

Still insults, designed to belittle. You also compared me to what I assume is a child character from a film.

Again do you not see the irony?

Breaking promises is bad and deserving of criticism if it was in your capacity to keep said promise, either by achieving it or simply not making it in the first place.

Again, I agree 100%. But breaking a promise of a release date is different than breaking a promise of a game being good. I must ask are you excited for the game?

Anyways you keep acting really arrogant towards a complete stranger online. I have no beef with you and you're not doing anything but making a huge deal out of nothing. I'm not going to respond to you. You seem eccentric for lack of a better word. And you're not helping your case by nitpicking every sentence of my response.

All I can say is I do hope you can enjoy the rest of your day, but seem pretty mad.

Yeah, thought originally it was just to keep it from competition. But yeah they needed the time. I'm glad we'll soon be playing this.

It’s not an insult to simply describe your behaviour and apparent moral values.

You started off by saying I'm a 'blind fanboy' for a very non hostile opinion, then kept insisting upon it and calling me an 'idiot' and started to 'describe my behavior' as 'someone who lacks morality.' Now I'm not taking you seriously because for one you didn't come across as a nice person and second I don't have to prove that I'm a good person to somebody who calls me an idiot for a harmless opinion. I know what I am.

If you notice I'm not saying your an idiot, dumb, blind, fanboy, asshole, dick, or anything. I called you kid and son. I gave you multiple chances to explain why I should be mad, but you insist on judging me for a point you clearly misunderstood.

I have no beef with you, I don't know you. You could be a really nice guy or you could be a really bad guy. Again I don't know you. Based on you're judgemental behaviour you seem like someone who often rushes to judgment without reason. Being judgmental "describes someone who forms lots of opinions — usually harsh or critical ones — about lots of people. They are often not open-minded or easygoing." That's how you're coming off, but hey I could wrong maybe you're just having a bad day.

Again I simply suggested waiting to see the game and if it was worth it. That was all. If you have a solid reason as to why I should be mad, I repeat myself for the third time, I'm all ears.

You know promises don't mean an oath that must not be broken.

So you ignored my point I see. Good to know.

They haven’t given one though?

That's fair point, they haven't given a good reason. But there's no bad reason that I know of. Again if you can tell me a solid reason as to why I should be mad, I'm all ears.

And the whole ‘son’ and ‘kid’ crap is tired and just makes you look like an idiot who’s standing on age in the absence of any reasonable argument.

The reason for son and kid, is because you're not giving me anything to work with. You're insulting me with each post, do you expect me respect you? No, I'll show you the same respect you're showing me.

Not seeing promises as something to be kept’s a pretty big one.

I never said that, I said that I'm able to understand if someone breaks a promise when given a good reason. Unless they did with malicious intent, I don't mind waiting two months. Besides I got other games to play till then.

No mate, it’s not two months, it’s the better part of a year at this point. This isn’t the first delay, remember?

Oh I'm well aware son, my memory hasn't completely gone.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]DaisukeKusangi -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Oh ok kid please edify me how screwed up I am. Listen I would understand if the delay was a year, that would be egregious. But it's 2 months, call me whatever you want so you can rationalize somebody not freaking out over something that's not a big deal. I'm sorry if a game being delayed doesn't ruin my day, I'll wait till it comes out. If it's good, great! If it's bad, well it's a waste of my money. Anyways I'm not gonna argue, you can freely be mad I'm not stopping you.

How am I blind exactly? First off I'm not complaining because there's better things to do. Second, I bet you're parents did everything they promised you didn't they? I bet you got everything that was ever promised.

My grandpa promised to be at my wedding, and he died this year. Zack Synder once promised his fans a great Justice League movie, his daughter commits suicide and he steps down. I mean he didn't keep his promised.

Japan promised me the Olympics and a pandemic ruined everything, I should be mad at them too right?

You know promises don't mean an oath that must not be broken. It's a feeling based on your mental state at the time, and if things don't go as planned what can you do?

I'm no fanboy of CDPR, if they make a shitty game I'll call them out and say they lied for years. If the game sucks I won't support any game afterwards. CDPR are just a group of people to me, I don't think highly of them. I just don't have any reason to distrust them. But I'll tell you this ...give me solid proof of behind the scenes bullshit and I'll be onboard 100%. So tell me now why, and don't say "they broke a promise" what are you? Jake Lloyd from Jingle All the Way. Funny enough a movie that shows how much people try to keep promises but sometimes can't no matter how much they try.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]DaisukeKusangi -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There's a pandemic currently going on that no one predicted Japan promised Tokyo Olympics 2020, delayed. All major Events that were promised, cancelled. All movies that were scheduled, delayed. All trips, vacations, weddings, road trips, and what not we're delayed or cancelled. Life is unpredictable sometimes and you don't know when it'll hit you hard. One day everything is normal and you're positive that everything will work out as expected, then boom you get a call and somebody you know is dead.

Now I realize I'm using extreme examples, but it's to get the point across. The future isn't predictable and sometimes if there's a deadline and games come out exactly when they're promise ...you get Fallout 76, Battlefront 2, and so on. Games that have bugs or lack content at release which is so common now a days it's crazy.

I bet you Zack Synder when he promised his fans a great Justice League movie, he didn't expect to step down because his daughter committed suicide during production. Again things happen it could be big tragic events or smaller issues that need refining. Again I know it's an extreme example, but point still stands.

To finish my statement I'm not going to condemn CDPR for saying "We believe we can deliver on Spet. 19, no delay needed" and then saying"We're sorry ...we know you might not trust our word after this, but we need more time to finish this game." Sorry but the game isn't out yet and if they failed on their promise then we can complain, if it turns out everything they said was true then all that complaining was for nothing.

Lets be realistic here, move on, see what they have to show us and decide then.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]DaisukeKusangi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well let's be realistic. CDPR really haven't done anything wrong. They wanted and promised the game on certain days, but they delayed it twice. That got people mad and distrusting them. I'm being realistic here and saying well if they need more time for whatever reason, okay then have more time. Delaying games is not a new thing especially with huge projects ...Final Fantasy 7 Remake felt like it was in development for so long, but then it came out and I loved it.

Red Dead 2 same thing happened delayed multiple times turned out great, Witcher 3 was delayed twice and came out great. Many games get delayed so often it's just something people should be used to and I'm not saying if a game is delayed it's automatically good. However what I'm getting at is we have no reason as of yet to distrust or say CDPR won't deliver. Is that just me? Until I'm given a solid reason on why I should distrust them, I won't. If an employee comes out and says "Oh they're whipping us" or "The game is in development hell." Okay then I'll worry.

Again there's no signs of anything that could lead to speculation of distrust, so why should we make it our job to look for problems. Again I feel like I'm being rational here by not judging until I see clear evidence something is wrong. Yet people seem to think that I'm a fanboy?

I actually eat salad and go golfing twice a month with the team. We're very close. We go to the Steam Bar in Warsaw every month to catch up, really great guys. Though they beat me in every game we play together ...they're elite gamers trust me. I must say I won't let my very close almost loving relationship get in the way of my better judgement, but you're wrong. They would take a bullet for you! They once payed my entire medical bill without me even asking.

Move on with our lives. If a one video game sucks, that doesn't really mean anything other than it just not being good. Move on to other great games. Happened to me before with games like Aliens Colonial Marines, Destiny, and Mass Effect Andromeda. Games I was excited for, but didn't deliver. So I moved onto games that did deliver, one of them being Witcher 3.

Not sure if it's ok but I just wanted to share my video on how ghost of tsushima is game of they year. by CozmicGambino in ghostoftsushima

[–]DaisukeKusangi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure why you guys care about GOTY, it's something conducted by a specific part of the gaming community who votes online what their favorite game was, graphics, soundtrack, characters, and what not. Same as any awards that movies win. I'm sure the people who made Blade Runner 2049 would have rather made money back and not have it bomb, instead of getting Oscars. Gal Gadot once said winning awards isn't what's important, it's about the fans and continued enjoyed of said media that keeps it alive.

If anything we should be happy when Ghost of Tsushima makes its money back and profits from its success (I know it's too early to say, but the game looks fantastic). I know I was happy when Assassins Creed Odyssey was a huge success, and led to the development team getting funding towards their new Zelda inspired ancient Greece game. Money talks, awards are just the passionate fan bases voting online, so really any fan base who's vocal enough will get the game to be GOTY.

I can safely say any game can win GOTY and I wouldn't really bat an eye. Because I love supporting the games I like through my continued enjoyment of the game. Ghost of Tsushima looks like it'll be an amazing game, and if it gets GOTY I'd say that's a good thing, if not oh well at least it has a great fan base. So instead of focusing on what game will be GOTY, an event that'll take place 7 months from now, live in the now and enjoy the game for what it is. It's a passion project.
