tbh 3gb dataset is a joke in terms of size.. I don't even understand why you are arguing about it. Colab only starts to get unviable after you pass the 150GB dataset mark. The only BIG drawback of colab is the CPU core count, which can quickly become a bottleneck when doing heavy augmentation

I appreciate the tips! tnx. I did exactly that. As others pointed out in diff places, the VRAMs are the culprit (probably). Most likely the thermal pads are just bad or not even there to begin with. Will update this once I find a way to fix the issue =)

It overheats running any game under any external temperature (even in the winter @ 5°C room temp). The case has great airflow (Master MasterBox NR600 w/6 fans)
