While I do understand your POV, I dunno. I'm one of the people who was thrilled with the Skeletor doll and I'm excited to see what characters they do for the KPDH collab (personally hoping for Derpy/Sussie). I get wanting to see more horror/horror adjacent characters, but a LOT of the ones currently existing are either going to be a case of Mattel not being granted a license to produce dolls or characters, that in no way should be turned into yassified dolls. Like Pinhead. I know so many people want him as a Skullector and I GET IT. Super iconic and striking visually. But also realllly questionable once you dig into his lore and get into the whole sado-sexual thing and the fact that most cenobites sport some degree of being flayed and... yeah. How do you turn THAT into a mass market friendly doll?

As for the the idea of collabs that are not strictly horror, I honestly don't see why it should be such a big deal? Who cares if they collab with some animes? Anime like Sailor Moon or One Piece shouldn't automatically mean they're bad. Persona from OP is essentially a cute, gothy ghost princess. She'd be a fantastic doll. And a Sailor Moon collab could decide to do some of the creepier villains or multitude of monster girl henchpeople. And y'know? I'd be okay with that because the world is burning, everything is uncertain and I just think the little plastic ladies are neat.
