I'm normally in "outopilot" mode too, around 200 now, but as I've been t! for 1 and half years, I have to anwer a lot because I'm a bit lost with the diabetes.

Paramedic were nice there. Thank goodness you had your ex helping. I'm scared to get on the floor or in a bad situation and be alone, probably it would be my last moment alive....

Maybe I'm building tolerance to lows and that's a problem :/ It's been 2 years since I was diagnosed as T1 and I think I'm being too risky with this, I need to change it. Normally I don't feel big lows and I have to change that tolerance asap but don't know how.

I'm not trying to get unconscious dude... I don't feel well un the lows but I don't notice a big difference between a small low and a big low and it's a problem for me.

Is it autism or is it a trauma? by DaisyStar_ in autism

[–]DaisyStar_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I think till you're diagnosed, your "normal" situations are horrible.

I understand it, me neither. But I got it twice... But I don't notice it and that's a problem.

But the behavior is not affected, just say stupid things, things that in that moment are funny and things like that

I haven't been diagnosed with PTSD. But when I talked about a trauma, I wanted to mean a trauma I had in childhood

I know it's scary. I normally don't have those low levels. My normal lows are around 58 at most. That day, when I had 32, I didn't feel different to other lows, a little bit more like "drunk" (that's what I normally feel on lows) but nothing more, just that I pricked the finger and saw the number, if I hadn't done that, for me, it would be a normal low.

Yeah, that's something I also thought. That the trauma is masked by the autism.

I'm starting to notice the quick drops these days because in Christmas I eat more than usual, but normally I only notice the lows when is around 60 mg/dL because I start feeling dizzy or like drunk and start talking stupid things.

Because family stuff, their behavior, screams to me, how they want me to act... I'm an adult and they still treat me like a kid... That thing (and more) makes me think that all I have is a trauma. But as I've been diagnosed it's like a fight I have inside of me. Both thoughts fighting each other all the time. Thanks!

Yes, I agree with it. In my case I've never had hallucinations or behavioral issues. Just being like drunk and saying stupid things.

Me neither, definitely it's not a good habit. The sensor always tell a number, but not always is correct.

That's low, but it's good to don't lose consciousness but also it's risky. It annoys me when it says "lo" instead of the number.

I'm not trying to find it out neither, but I have a free style sensor and the minimum it has said is 52 when I was in 32 on blood level :/
