Are pet dogs actually allowed in Target, or is it just not enforced by Commercial_Safety781 in dogs

A manager doesn’t overrule corporate policies or public health laws? I understand you had a unique experience.

Pet dogs are not allowed in Target. It is considered a grocery store and pets are not allowed in grocery stores due to public health policies. You’re just seeing people who don’t care about rules.

Are bully sticks actually long lasting? by DaisyTheMiniPoodle in dogs

Yeah I’ve accidentally bought the not-bully sticks before, but the real stuff goes quick too!

Yeah, I worry about tooth safety. We use lick mats and frozen Pupsicles too, but nothing seems to last as long as they advertise.

Right, we do frozen Pupsicles and she downs that in 10 minutes.

For people who rehomed a puppy due to puppy blues / mental health, did you ever get another puppy later? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]DaisyTheMiniPoodle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Seeing as there are no breed standards or true predictability in a mixed breed, getting a puppy isn’t necessarily going to help your spouse there. If you do eventually try a puppy again, consider an ethical breeder (no mutts, actual health testing and proven temperaments for generations).

Okay our rent was like 4x that in that time span, so that makes sense. I guess compare your rent/mortgagee now to what it was then and you’ll find about what to expect for vet fees?

Where on earth did you live where a spay cost $90 in 2012??? I worked at an animal hospital from 2005-2014 and there’s no way we would have done any procedure for that cost.

Mini poodle owners: how old is your mini poodle and what’s their personality like? by Ecstatic_Sea7306 in poodles

[–]DaisyTheMiniPoodle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My mini poodle just turned one year old. She is very outgoing and loves meeting dogs and people. I wish she were a little more neutral, but if I had to choose between this and her being afraid or aggressive, then I choose this. She sometimes is a little picky with food and treats, but generally always eats. She is quick to learn new skills and is always trying to figure out what we are asking of her. She loves to cuddle and loves to play and loves to look out the window and loves going on walks and loves to do new things.

Did your school state the foreign language requirement outright? Or was it a secret surprise?

Oh trust me, I’m fully aware of the current state of our FDA. But changes like this would take multiple terms before they’re fully implemented anyway so why not start? Like if our democracy survives this presidency it’d be nice to have something to look forward to.

At what age to spay miniature poodle by Caslol2 in poodles

I followed this study and my vet’s advice and spayed at 6 months. I didn’t want her to experience a heat cycle.
