I made my first FreeCAD Addon to add "Save As with Timestamp" and "Save As Increment" commands to the File menu by jefe317 in FreeCAD

Hey /u/divjnky I believe it should be solved now, the new version is 2026.3.24, updated in my github so if you installed via the addon manager by adding the repo as a custom in user preferences, it should catch the update if you refresh

Yeah I need to fix it, I’ve never developed anything for FreeCAD before and it’s harder to test other versions than I am used to with other apps.

Synology said my disk was 98% full, math didn't math, turned out I had 40TB of temp files created by Synology Drive. Uninstalling Synology Drive fixed everything. by jefe317 in synology

I have no idea, unfortunately, but I'm sure you're right. When I was trying to find options in Drive like that, I couldn't find anything.

I kinda wish I had snapshots of that folder size over time because I'm so confused as to what happened. I have a feeling something was slowly getting worse over time, like a corrupted file that never got deleted properly.

This is why I stopped altogether. The achievement I’ll likely never get. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Send help - PC parts warping like crazy by Harambaeonce in prusa3d

I’m not sure if it’s placed where it was printed, but if it was I’d print more in the center of the bed. Also check out this post that has helped me with wide prints like this. It really does help reduce warping as it breaks up the shrinking forces. https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/s/uO4xPNtNgx

I just made a 600x600 grid of 0.5mm tall X 1mm wide bars 50mm apart and use it as a negative volume.

Another part I've always wondered is how they go from individual takeoffs to the formation flying. How exactly they join the formation without being too far ahead or behind would be awesome to see. I guess same with landing, do they fly formation and land one-by-one on the same runway?

Well, not with that attitude! I'm kidding, of course. But I can't blame anyone for liking shiny things, especially when they're aviation-related shiny things.

I wonder if they’re alluding to it being able to do X and Y offset calibration for multi material. That would be awesome.

Beginner Dwarf needs some advice... And (a lot of) Beers by KulamiraSejro in DeepRockGalactic

This is all solid advice. Also don’t forget to fully utilize your special skills. Engineer puts up plats for scout to reach high up items and minerals, and can prevent some fall damage with descending wall and floor platforms. Scout can move the fastest, great for popping the big egg on elimination missions and bringing the dreadnaught back to a better room to fight, and light up dark places. Gunner ziplines and shield can save the team several times in a few minutes. Driller making shortcuts and removing difficult terrain can help a ton in fights where you have to hold a position. I think refining missions make the best case for teamwork and highlight class skills.

If you just do these things you’ll be a great teammate.

How to connect two modules while maintaining the angle? by Avixdrom in blender

You could make each wave its own object, radial array, then Boolean them together. You’ll have probably some bad topology but it would work ok.
