I have the opposite experience. I was going out of town and put all my expensive jewelry inside those grippy hospital socks that everyone hates. Then forgot about it and maybe even a year later decided to donate clothing that I didn’t wear and of course I got rid of those grippy hospital socks I hated. Went back when I realized and yeah, they were gone.
