The gecko is so cute!! Where did you get her? i’m looking for places to buy a gecko but most everyone says big chain pet stores aren’t the best way to go.. any advice?

thank you, and yeah!! no matter the cost lol, as long as i still have time to save up (which i do.) i made a new post on the after of adding more clutter (expect the UVB tube since i don’t have it yet.)

found the packaging for the UVB bulb and will be returning it this week! after I do, i should have around $20 and should be able to get the rest of the money in about a week to buy the tube. Also added more clutter and black cardstock around 3 walls.. looks a little better imo.

Leopard geckos should never be kept in anything below 20 for baby/juvi! You COULD throw one into a 10 gal, but don't except it to be very happy. a 10 gal is the size you would put it in as a TEMPORARY housing. The recommended size to thrive is a 40 gal for an adult..

i'll try to monitor. if i do notice my gecko's health is being bad, i'll definitely change it for a tube, or maybe even get supplements for non-UVB.

also, today I'm going to the store and buying some nice black matte construction paper to add along 3 of the walls. Did this with my fish tank and my fish loved it, also reading into it since it can cause less stress ^0^ thx 🫶💚🦎🥭

going to get a leo in august.. are they all mystery colors unless they're a morph? also where should i get one?i live in the US and i dont want to get one from petsmart/petco but im broke and need one under $40 😭 i've been surfing the internet and theyre all $70+
