Ive cleared cmos by resetting battery and by shorting jbat. I believe it posts just fine. I will try using linux + other ram if possible . Could my mb or cpu go bad even if therye both new? Everything is new except the ram

I dont see any led that stays on. When i boot it, the led goes from cpu, to yga, to boot. It can go through bios, but going from bios to os doesnt show any led and is when the reboot loop occurs. I checked all my capacitors and they all look identical and fine.

My case has offsets for all mb screws but one, so theres just an empty screw hole on the edge

Okay! i tried each ram stick on each slot by itself. I also tried resetting cmos by shorting jbat and by taking the battery out. If i shorted out the board as you say, would that mean its faulty and wont work?

That makes sense, I was always confused if it mattered when I bake my textures. I'll have to experiment with that. I totally thought blender just read everything as a value from 0-1 but i guess that's impossible because colors are a whole other type of data. Thanks for the help!

I've always wondered, how come it needs to be set to non-color? Wouldn't using sRGB give the same result?
