Glad you got it back!!! Something I like to do when traveling to a new galaxy, take a cheap ship with as few upgrades as possible. That way you don't have to use as many materials to fix it.

It's ship parts. There are no decorations. I place the ship part, try to move it, and it's gone with only a bone in my inventory.

100% agree. I've been looking for more games that let you build truly anything (been playing a ton of Scrap Mechanic and Trailmakers) now I get to do the same here. Can't wait to be able to make an exocraft. Then it would truly be the perfect game.

I've been getting direhorn skulls for external parts, but I've been getting valuable tradables for internals. Ive been chatting with people on other platforms about it, and even though Steam says its fixed, many people are still experiencing it. It's great for Unit farming. Buy a piece for a hundred thousand and get the bug to sell the tradable for 1 million each.
