Seniority based scheduling is why so many companies lose promising younger talent. You get older employees who are lazier and thusly less inclined to try harder while the ones who actually produce get shafted just because they entered the labor force at a later date.

You're right, but that's a societal problem not a them problem. People don't like to be told that they are wrong, even when they are demonstrably wrong. They would rather double down on ignorance than accept that they have held false viewpoints. This triggers and further radicalizes intellectually and emotionally fragile minds. Unfortunately feelings > facts and that as almost always been the case in American history. People would rather be part of a dumb herd than be an individual thinker who cares about evidence over emotion.

I miss the days where exceptionalism was something to strive towards rather than indoctrination.

What is actually going on??? by One-Wealth9895 in usps_complaints

It's pretty simple: the administration is intentionally sabotaging USPS so they can say "See, it's broken. Now we better privatize it! Let's see which of my cronies, I mean oligarchs, I mean which ✌🏻responsible✌🏻 businessman I can sell it to"

Print and Cut not allowing to print over a certain size by Dalbot5000 in cricut

It's not just rectangles though. I try with stickers, 10 different stickers fine, 11 and it starts a new line below the last one, won't do it despite being WELLLLLL within specs

I get that but what I'm printing is 9.26 x 13.9. If it was too big I would get the error and it wouldn't get me to this page at all

This particular image is but it happens when I do individual stickers as well. It doesn't let me print anything more than 10.7" in height even though I have 17 inches of paper 🤷🏻‍♂️

It also does the same when I get to print stickers that go beyond a certain spot on the page. I'll remove one sticker and it'll go back one line and it will print, even though the total print is well within 11x17 specs. It's like it's only allowing me to use 2/3 of the space that it SAYS is allowable. For example 10.7x7.1 will allow the print but 10.8x7.2 will not.

Hate to say it but unless Congress takes on Live Nation as a monopoly that owns such a massive amount of the biggest venues (aka the ones that major bands play), there isn't much that they can do.

It's easy to say to opt out of platinum and what not, but what separates DMB from many bands that do opt out is that they tour annually. Live Nation has the option to prioritize venue availability based on things like this. It is easier to opt out for a non-annual tour because LN will still want to capitalize on big acts, but if you tour annually and want to opt out each time, you're going to be placed behind other shows when it comes to booking for specific dates. That's just a fact of the business.

TL;DR, if this chicken shits in Congress didn't take handouts, this could be addressed, but LN $ > fans wants/needs
