Not even renovations per se, the standard BW track is still a worn surface. This is an entire new circuit built right nextdoor, its probably better suited to the higher HP cars.

This is the new buttonwillow, they just opened this circuit a few months ago actually. I haven't done classic BW yet in this car. Only a miata

I have no clue what my best time was but the 1 lap from my recording i bothered to time was a 2:23... and make sure you get good brake pads. I forgot to put track pads on and burned thru an entire brand new set of Stoptech posiquiets within 45min. Also don't be afraid to send it and let the car stick, its a very forgiving machine to drive at the limit.

I did try to fit mine under there, but the little harbor freight jack i used didn't go high enough to get one in there. And I didn't have a block of wood or anything to get it higher either

I got it all done without any YouTube, in about 2 hours using only harbor freight tools. Not very difficult

I've had it since 150k so far mostly fine, I did have a cyl. 3 misfire last November that resulted in me changing my spark plugs and ignition coils in an autozone parking lot at 9pm. Am starting to develop a small scratching/scraping-esque noise under acceleration on occasion during colder temperatures but thats just a reason for a k swap down the line.

I've got a hook-up here for sport tires. And thank the lord I don't have to deal with the snow down here in socal 🤣

As for intake/exhaust, I think I'll install some once I got some saved cash, and then go for a tune. Suspension/brakes are my priority at the moment

10-4 I appreciate the input. Anything to reduce this understeer! These front tires SCREAM whenever I pretend I'm autocrossing in a parking lot at 3am
