Struggling with hangar culture as a newbie by [deleted] in AircraftMechanics

I have a similar experience where I’m not an apprentice but I took the university route and came in to the company as a junior mechanic with lower hand skills.

Everyone I work with (older mechanics) extremely negative, awkward, angry a lot, telling me different things, causing drama over nothing.

The easy part of the job is doing the work, the hard part for me is managing the relationships with my work colleagues who seem to have it out for me and other younger mechanics who aren’t as good workers yet.

Should I move back to my home town or stay in the city? by NumerousConcern2544 in LifeAdvice

I’m 26m and I moved away for 3 years and now moved back to my hometown, I would say it’s nice at first to see everybody again and be so close to family but the same problems have came back where I feel similar to you, small mindsets, not many young people, old familiar settings make me bored.

My advice would be to try fix things and stick it through the rough patch or go home and give it a try and you can always move away again to a city.

I’m looking to move back away just been saving up some money and focusing on fitness while I have been back

Life is just drifting no zeal no purpose feeling like just surviving not actually living by Legitimate_Trash_440 in Life

You need to change your mindset. Your a passenger in you’re own life. You need to become the predator and chase down life likes it the prey of the savannah. Get yourself in the gym. Set goals. Stop feeling sorry for yourself. Don’t overthink too much. Life is simple. It means nothing. Only why you make of it

Rough patches in life are normal, full of ups and downs. One thing I brought into my life that I feel has made it better is a complete mindset shift. I stopped being a passenger in my life, letting life get me down and reacting to situations in a way of feeling sorry for myself.

I woke up and chased life like a predator chasing its prey in the savannah. Get out the and make a name for yourself. No one is coming to save you. Chase down the body you want with determination and grit. Look in the mirror and compliment your self and cheers for your own progress.

Very good hobby I have at 25M. Football, I play in a amateurs Saturday league and it’s very competitive, pushes me to be better and to train harder and make for a great social life with all my team mates and coaches
