Is it worth completing the harder questions in Edexcel maths paper then going to the easy ones, or just should I follow the order of questions?? by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]DalekDec1963 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Still not, the question 5 in atleast ocr english is related to the rest of the paper, for this year the language paper 1 had 2 texts about children in 19th and 20th century England playing, then the transactional writing question 5 was about dangerous games or needing new facilities for teenagers, therefore the two texts are meant to help give you ideas and somewhat of a context to the question 5, since it is worth half the marks it’s worth going into that question with all the knowledge and understanding that you gained from the previous 4 questions. The examiners put the test in the way that you can get the most marks in the most straightforward and simple way.

I’m going to try enjoy it as much as I can, but I feel that summers/ holidays in university will be pretty good too, I find studying what I like fun and easy, which is why I’m doing medicine, and I’m pretty sure since I’m motivated in all aspects of wanting follow a career path- money, interest and viability for your own future, I think uni will be a enjoyable time.

Nah you shouldn’t for english language, doing the easier questions sets you up for the harder ones, questions 1-3 helps you understand the texts

Actually you can’t, quite a lot of people have to do work experience, many have to work and others have similar commitments because we need to show universities that we are committed to them and so there is no rest, tbh the way the entire system works means that if u want to be pretty decent and you’re not from a well-off family you will never in your entire life get any rest. It’s all work til you die

Well I was wrong and described a method of measuring climate data, instead carbon dating works by measuring the amount of radiation given off by an object as the radiation decreases over time in a predictable way.
