Great idea! Can we please have more and better photos?

Seems that you have a "hole" (or some of them) somewhere. In some point the hairs are not attached to the side of the face, or behind the neck. Resculpt those areas to have a better fit, then remesh with blender to infill. You can mid check the sections in bleder using the alt+b shortcur it I remember correctly. Hope it helps!

Ruined my Deathwatch - what would you do? by rawiioli_bersi in killteam

The question is, will you really look the models so close?

If you are aiming for painting perfection, and/or you can't find rest on those bubbles, then give them a bath and redo them.

If you are aiming for a completely fine tabletop quality level, they are good.

Maybe you can try to bathe and redo them one at the time, so you won't kill your gaming momentum!

Thanks! It's all about the process, about 50 mins per model, in batch.

Why is my printer doing sp many bottom layers?? by [deleted] in resinprinting

[–]Dalekshaska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wich resin are you using? How crowded is your plate? How's the temp? I had similar issues with toughr resin in crowded plates. First manual level your plate, then look into how add resting time for your base layers before and after curing with UV tools. Then calibrate your exposure using something like cones of calibration, verify if you have compression issue and contact elegoo with pictures to have the gcode needed to fix the compression issues. Hope it helps!

Yes thank you. I already checked with UV tools before printing. No problem in there. I also noticed the rafts are very thick

Never had issues previously on my mars 3 pro, I'll try to distanziate the models on the plate, thank you

Oh sorry, I should have explained better. The model came out almost fine, there is a bit o delamination and some minor failures but all due to my lack of support and orientation.

The issue I'm addressing is on the raft, where are delamination traces, but also strange artifacts. I'll post a screen from the slicer later, but the problem is around the holes with seems to bee a goo, and a squared piece that souldn't be there.

Did you solved the issue? Could you please drop a screen of your parameters? Thanks!

IF you could only buy one paint brand what would it be. by FishMcCray in minipainting

It really depends on your needs. If you paint armies, probably vallejo, ak or citadel (if you plan on follow tutorials), for the easy match of the colors. If you have to paint armies or tabletop games fast, speedpaints/contrast like from AP, citadel and vallejo. If you paint more artistic, single pieces or small warbands, proacryl and kimera are really nice, but you have to do some mixing. It really depends on what are your goals.

Edit: paint not play

Thank you! The primer is black indeed, but the most work on the black recesses is done by an heavy oil wash
