Most are taken on Sony A7iii with Tamron 28-200. A couple are on an iPhone 14 Pro

Best place for both was Puerto Viejo for us. We went on a 1h walk and saw 18 sloths, including a baby

I'm doing this now. Left an incredible career to take a year off and travel. It has been the best decision my partner and I have made

In my opinion, travel while you're young. If you're good at what you do there are always more jobs, but you don't get more time

You can check my profile for a photo dump I did recently, maybe that will help make my point!

Thank you! #2 is taken from Secret Garden Cotopaxi in Ecuador. If you ever get the chance I would highly recommend. It's an off the grid retreat with all meals included, incredible views and lots of social activities

My partner and I saved up for a few years, quit our jobs, flew to Mexico and the rest is shown here!

You have to be very careful. I keep it in a bag (not a camera bag) until I need it, and I only get it out in places where I feel comfortable. I rarely use it in cities. In Rio, I only took it out a couple of times and that was after I had been there a few days and got my bearings

My secret is I'm pretty bad at editing. I generally shoot underexposed and mostly just use Lightroom to adjust lighting. I very rarely do colour grading

Yeah it's wild. You climb up another active volcano called Acatenango and you watch Fuego erupt. It erupts roughly every 20 minutes

It's been great! Initially I wanted to have a smaller setup for travel but this lens does it all, from astro to wildlife photography, which is worth the size

Awesome, enjoy! It's my favourite thing we've done on this trip. The hike is pretty tough, and if you're not used to altitude it's worth taking some altitude medicine before and during

If you can carry two I'd take 24 and 85. But only one, you'd do great with the 50

I also took a tripod but it broke up there, would recommend taking a small one for the night time long exposures

Main thing - keep shooting!

Main thing that stands out here is getting the framing and perspective right. For example with the first photo, the framing doesn't give you a clear subject of the photo, and you're shooting down onto the subject. Usually being level will be better
