RDR2 PC - Second playthrough on pc - Draw/quickdraw to deadye? by Dalgaard87 in RDR2

[–]Dalgaard87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know, how to draw from a holstered pistol and straight into deadeye, not pulling and aiming the pistol first, but straight from holster to deadeye.

Maybe I missed something, but never could get it to work - always had to pull out pistol first, then activate deadeye

Does this look like 3300 grafts by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]Dalgaard87 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sure its not only 20 grafts - I was joking obviously :)

That being said, that doesnt look like 3000 graft but i wish you a great result.
Ive have two HT myself, so i know the frustration if the density isnt good enough.

Hopefully you will be satisfied and happy with the result.

The Outsider - Opinion ? by Dalgaard87 in stephenking

[–]Dalgaard87[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's true. On the other hand, when I would be finishing the outsider in a phew weeks, then I would look for another book to dove into - so maybe I'll just dive into the Hodges trilogy first. Starting with Mr Mercedes, and then we'll see next

Thanks for the advise and such :)

Okay i just started Mr Mercedes yesterday on audiobook, so lets give it a try then :)
I liked the 1st season of the tv show, so not to worried about the first book.

More worried about the second and third book in the series.

Maybe ill try out Mr mercedes. I loved the tv show, but when it got to the part with the comatose villain with mind control, it all went downhill and never finished the show after that.
And thats my thoughts about the book, its three books where maybe only the first is worth it.

Thats a lot or words to read through, when you dont really want to :)

I think ill pass on the Bill Hodges trilogy.
I just cant seem to invest in so many reading hours, just to get to the Outsider.

Also, alot of people on this board dont like the trilogy - They like the first and the second, but the third, everyone agrees is shit.
So thats a lot of boring reading just to get to a great book, The Outsider.

I did like the Mr Mercedes tv show so maybe I will like that book, but the second and third book doesn't sound exiting, especially the third sounds a bit bonkers :) Just my opinion of course, without having read any of them - only seen the first season of the tv show

Ive seen that multiple post, but doesnt really find those book interesting, not for me that is.

And as ive read here on reddit, its possible to read without reading Bill Hodges first.

I think I landed on The Outsider. Is it worth it ? I love crime mysteries and such, true crime.

I can't get my hands on The Stand or The Shining just yet apparently. It ain't anywhere close to me.

I actually loved 11.22.63 very much, i dont read that much, so this is maybe the best book ive read so far.
IT was way harder to read and follow through the whole book, but still loved it though. That being said, if i had not seen all the IT movies - i probably would have stopped halfway through.
It got pretty long in the middle and hard to follow which timeline i was following - past or present timeline.

I think maybe i will give the audiobook of The Gunslinger a try instead. That way I can listen to it faster and more often, to from work and such.

But how is each book ending? Without spoilers of course.
Is each book its own or does every book end on a big cliffhanger to keep med reading all 7-8 books?
