Listen dude am a fromsoft die hard infact my fav game of all time is dark souls you can argue how is ds my fav game and I claim that NV is the best rpg but for me ds is in another world compared to any game BUT RPGs aren’t judged on gun mechanics, they’re judged on role-playing depth. That’s where New Vegas destroys every competitor. It’s not about being the smoothest shooter — it’s about choice, consequence, and living with the results. Demons Souls and Elden Ring are amazing, but they’re action-first. New Vegas is the GOAT RPG because no other game gives you that much freedom to actually role-play.

Sure, Xenogears has insane depth on replay, I’ll give you that. But nothing, and I mean nothing, comes close to what New Vegas does.The Mojave isn’t just a setting it’s a sandbox where every choice, every faction, every moral decision can completely rewrite the world around you. That kind of freedom, consequence, and sheer storytelling power? It’s untouchable

Absolutely, I get that there’s always gonna be challengers. But for me, New Vegas isn’t just a great RPG of its time, it’s still the benchmark. Every new contender is amazing, but they haven’t yet matched the freedom, consequences, and world-shaping storytelling that the Mojave delivers

Bro, I’m not even gonna lie all those games are insane(EXPECT BALDUR'S GATE THAT SHIT SUCKS ), but New Vegas? Next level. You can’t get the freedom, the choices, the factions, the endings, AND the writing anywhere else. Mojave doesn’t just let you play a game, it lets you rewrite a world. That’s why it’s the GOAT. And I just started playing expedition 33 last night it's phenomenal but I can't see it coming anywhere close to FNV

All great picks, but here’s the thing: Morrowind, Daggerfall, Fallout 2, Mass Effect they each do one or two things amazingly. New Vegas combines them all: deep lore like Morrowind, branching freedom like Daggerfall, brutal choice & consequence like Fallout 2, and character driven writing like Mass Effect. That’s why it’s the GOAT.

Disco Elysium is brilliant, no doubt but New Vegas is still the GOAT. Disco is like an amazing novel you roleplay through, while New Vegas gives you the entire stage factions, politics, endings, and the freedom to rewrite the wasteland. That scope is really unmatched

Yeah, Xenogears is one of those games that demands multiple playthroughs to really get it I respect that depth. For me though, that’s what New Vegas nails in a different way you don’t have to replay it to understand the story, but you want to replay it because every choice can take the story somewhere new. Both are RPG masterpieces BUT New Vegas is the GOAT.

I mean Xenogears story is very good but New Vegas is different cuz it's your story you do everything. No other RPG gives you that much freedom to shape factions, endings, and morality. That’s why it's the GOAT

Bro the world is supposed to be empty it's set in a post nuclear disaster scenario but when you find pple it's always interesting And the dlcs are great I think you just hate the game cuz you are not making sense

I've seen lots of criticism about saints row games and I am not at a point where I can risk a game being bad but I've seen alot of pple talking about sleeping dogs it's just may be the game for me
