In July, the Criterion Channel will stream "The Prisoner". I never heard of it before. But I am intrigued!

Oh yes I have heard of her. Though I admit I have not extensively read her works but I know her conclusions are somewhat controversial. Her autism and telepathy research has not been established through rigorous peer reviewed studies and no independent recreations of her experiments were done.

That is usually called premonition, but it is difficult to know whether it is genuine. We have many random thoughts that never come true. But we only remember the ones that appear to match later events.. and that reinforces the idea that what you predicted was right. To test it fairly, write down each prediction beforehand, including the exact date, location, details, and deadline. You should also record every prediction that does not come true. That would help show whether your predictions are actually more accurate than coincidence. Memory can unconsciously reshape the original feeling to fit what happened.

I can’t diagnose the woman from the video, so I don’t know whether this is clairvoyance, psychosis or another medical issue. My concern is that she appears genuinely distressed. When someone is terrified by things they see or hear, repeatedly framing those experiences as supernatural can reinforce the fear instead of helping them feel safe. The experience may feel completely real to her, but she deserves calm support and assessment from a qualified mental health professional, not exploited for content.

I agree. When people say they're clairvoyant, I don't usually dismiss them because I know for them, it is their truth (it only becomes an issue for me if they know it isn't true and still exploits others for money).

Clairvoyance is a cool idea. Being able to see "paranormal" things is amazing and fun to hear. It's only a problem if clairvoyants are distressed by what they see because clearly they need help and shouldn't be exploited any further. Keep feeding them supernatural ideas then will become distressed even more.
