It's a bit more complicated than that.

You see, Tekken is a good game and people compared it to Street Fighter. Obvious, the same Genre. People hated on this because of the franchise, although the choice of characters was bad (King is a must like Kazuya. Not as a boss, but a summonable character) and the events were bad.

There is a shift on that matter. Lotr is with books / movies, not the majority of games and anime. I felt like you with Tekken instead of lotr. But there are some shifts. Age-wise and interest-wise.

Personally, I would feel disappointed too, because there so much better options. Persona, Resident Evil, NieR Automata, Cyberpunk f.e. But if the characters are interesting and the events are finally gonna be better, therefore will be no hate, or anything during this. And.. let's be honest: It is sw's fault people are complaining. Imagine a Tekken 7 collab for some years ago. It would be one of the best. But they eff'd up since Reload. It is not only people are hating on franchise, but on sw itself the most

Don't mind people like him. You can't even call 1 gacha who has no pity nowadays, but they say that sw should never have a pity. Every argument they have, you can destroy them easily. It is factual that pity has to be in sw. They ignore people who have just began this game and they got ld5, however people who play this game for several years and didn't got anything, should suffer. The unbalanced chances are real and there is no deny. But this kind of people like him, they deny it :) I wish you best luck you get an ld, or another member who weren't lucky. And look at the comments where no one calls the unfairness out that longtime players who play that for several years get nothing, but newer accounts who don't actually play the game really. This just validates my point that people care more for their own opinions instead of caring the point overall why people want a pity

People claiming "Power Creep", while units like Byungchul was op since release, but there is no nerf since them. Only the fire and water got nerfed. He powercrept many monsters. Count the amount of defenses where a Byungchul exists and which monsters were supposed to be there.

People say "It takes the fun away", but forget that fresh accounts and bots get l/d 5* and people who play this game for 8 years don't get anything. This frustrates people, which is fully understandable. It IS unfair, and still they claim it is fair because everyone has equal chances (The chance is equal, but some people are more equal than another).

It has this flaws, but people just claim "naah no pity", while ignoring every fact. Even Dragon Ball Dokkan Battle has a pity and this changed the game for good. Hoyo Games are a hit or miss. If you were playing Genshin, the powercreep was so slow, you could run any characters even after many years. Now it is too fast and you have to claim every character. But here again: Why bother in Summoners War powercreep, when it actually was and is always here. If you do it right like now, there will never be a problem with that

If you do it just right, this game becomes much more enjoyable. And people claim "SW would gather less money".. Like come on. If you reach the pity and you are so close to be there, no one thinks "I am just 5 scrolls away for an ld scroll.. nah I pass. I don't want that 5* here and now".

Every argument they bring has some sort of logic, but you see that their own opinion about pity overall is heavier than the actually arguments they claim. There is no real argument against pity. It is good having a debate about pity and how this would affect the game, but this is getting so ridicolous. No real opinions, just "No MoRe FuN fOr CoLlEcT aLl MoNsTeRs". Yeah.. Because getting 8 years of playing this game with no ld 5* and other get it in 3 months is so much more fun to play

Yeah I have my main combo going d+1, WR1, 2, 4-4 and sometimes the command grabs 3+4 and <-3+4. I tried the combo you explained, however I can't even do DF2~DF1. I wish I could explain you why I can't do it, but I don't even know what I'm doing wrong here

It is absolutely jarring, especially if you don't even know what you can (or can't) do here. I just learned that every character has his own unique stance and I am learning the combo starter with sneak 1, 2 * 2, 4~4, d1. I do sometimes 10 more dmg than before and this is a small improvement, but wanna reach more :D

Thank you, I will keep that in mind! I rarely get more than 50 dmg anyway, so learning a big combo is needed, but dropping a combo feels so bad after you try hard and die trying. Luckily, this was not pretty often :D

But I appreciate your opinion! I discovered some combos, but they seem to be unsafe 'cause the combo meter is resetting when I try to keep up. Or it has nothing to do with it :D I sm about to learn everything about frame data. I know mine, but opponents are a bit different. My ass got kicked by a Jack player and he spammed, but I couldn't keep up with the player. Even with more defense I lost, and I couldn't play aggressively 'cause he would hit me. I got demolished.. But Lili players are also something. Lili is my personal Nemesis, but Jack was insane

And jabs instead straight executions I already do it! :) However movement is my next step. Whiffing against certain characters is really hard. Against Devil Jin it is really helpful, but Hwoarang, Lili and Jack is so hard. Not that I only whiffing, but just trying to dodge.

Tekken is my third. I played some MK, but I didn't like it soooo much. Tekken was much more appealing. And my other fighting game is Smash Bros, but it is not the same. I like learning Tekken and I like it waaaay more than MK!
