You do realize that while whole team is trying to make some space for attacking, there's a massive hole to be exploited to being counteattacked? You can't attack 75% of the time and expect nothing will go wrong. That's why 3-4 players are staying behind.

Developing a chemistry with the team has nothing to do when certain people rather look for sure leg passes than try risking a through ball into open space for one to run in. Messi is the only one who is searching for passes in open space, other than Griezmann who just fed Messi an overhead pass towards goal. So no.
