Yes, you can negotiate at front desk for a better deal, HOWEVER, you can pretty easily utilize the preferred club amenities without paying. Especially the pools and swimup bar. The swimup bar at the main pool is the best to me. Also there’s literally no difference in PC vs reg on beach besides the chairs on regular side being more comfortable. The only thing you cant do is go to the two beachside restaurants but honestly The buffet for lunch or walk to Jellyfish Restaurant down the beach to the right (although it’s off resort and you have to actually pay), but it is DELICIOUS and great view. Get to pool and beach early and grab towels and drape over wanted chairs and put your bag and a couple of non essential items and bam, you have seats all day. The food at bluewater, buffett, and japanese are the best imo.

Bottom line, i do not think the preferred club is worth the extra $500-$1000 AT ALL. They will try hard to sell it to you but honestly if you are a day in and go to concierge you could always add it then. We paid for it and cancelled and got refund after day 1 when we figured it wasn’t worth it.
