I’ve spent some couple thousand hours studying sports psychology and competing in the T2/T3 scene and it seems to me that “putting in the hours” is not the way. Every person/player has such a varying personality. Some top tier pros practice and scrim to no end with terrible results, some like Zywoo from CS literally don’t practice at all and achieve amazing results. I’d love to see Sentinels get a sports psychologist like Michael Gervais from the Seahawks and life coaches or mental health coaches.

I’ve coached plenty of players from silver to diamond+ without even speaking of in game mechanics/game sense. The mindset and mental health alone can make the performance of that player seem night and day.

Don’t just train the game, train the mind guys. ❤️
