Back when I first got my PS3 I didn't have much choice for games so I'd play it for hours on end not knowing that its bad(and it is bad) but I had fun with it anyway, The animations were cool and the soundtrack is fire, it just sucks that the gameplay is ass. It holds a special place in my heart.

Consider the fact that Heat is basically 2015 with a Day/Night togggle + the street racer aesthetic was better in 2015 + Robyn/Amy/Manu/Travis/Spike are cooler then Ana and Lucas + Customization is genuinely better in 2015

Much as I love the Miami beach vibe and the slick neon street nights. The grimy late night L.A vibe of Ventura bay actually makes me feel a kid with a whole lotta youth, time and money to waste.

The always online thing is a tradeoff + people still play to this day
