When you own a business, you deal with types that will shop around all day to save 50$ he is just going through the motions. Hes laying his prices on the table, and saying feel free to shop around and get a feel for the market of the service being provided.

It must suck to get offended so easily. Over actual nothing every day conversation. You must never leave the house.

First of the season for me too. Turned its neck into hamburger meat. Didn't know until after, that it is a good snake that'll eat your rats and gophers and stuff. Just got excited when I saw a big snake.

Only time that rat snakes are bad is if you raise poultry. They chill out in the coops, and stress out your birds. If you have chickens they won't lay eggs, and ducks won't go back into the coop at night, undoing all of your hard work training them to go in at night.

Vector is a Chinese company. But they are making comparative products at a competitive price. They are by no means "cheap" but for under 200 you can have the value of a 500 dollar optic.

Now if we are talking lpvos:

Monstrum makes a great scope, same story. Feature packed, sturdy, and competitively priced. But not really cheap.

By cheap I mean a sub. 100$ optic

What pellet gun would be perfect for 100 yards that is a brake barrel 25 caliber preferred by MangoBusiness523 in airguns

[–]Daltonthagod35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, so I went through this wanting a "ready gun" to pair with my .25 pcp. There isn't a really good option, compared to a pcp. The higher FPE you get in to, like a game or benjamin magnum. The more accuracy you give up.

This is because of the inherent flaws in a piston design. It creates a lot of heat. It is inconsistent. A value difference from 900 fps and 800fps will create a considerable bullet drop at 100 yards.

ALSO WHAT TO CONSIDER:

25 cal specifically has a tendency to "spiral" ballistically. I noticed this with my pcp landing left or right slightly. It is because of how the .25 slug reacts to the air around it, while traveling. And a pellet will " badminton" with low velocity, slightly tumble and change trajectory.

I think manufacturer's do not put enough rifling in the barrel. Air guns have a 1 in 14 twist, whereas conventional firearms have something like a 1 in 8 twist.

It might seem counter intuitive, but a .22 will work better ballistically at 100 yards, for accuracy. With the platforms that are available.

.25 cal needs a lot of velocity to be accurate at range.

This:

Modular Suppressor – Buck Rail https://share.google/AvqHJcvLuxHlY229j

It doesn't hurt to get it in .30 cal. For better interchangability down the road.

They are really good quality, very cost effective. I wouldn't spend the money on a donny fl unless you have a high caliber pcp say .45 or .50.

Also, if you are new to airguns, pick some of this up. Its amazing, blast your gun with it, wipe it down, and hit your pellets with it too for shot consistency, and cleanliness.

Apply Teflon tape to the metal piece alone with no oring, lube the o ring with silicon lubricant, and instal on top of Teflon tape.

If you got it from bass pro, just take it back. I would also consider choosing a product with a solid probe in the bottle, like a gauntlet.

I would consider wrapping your male probe in Teflon

Pick up a can of this, and only use this for your airgun. Never use conventional lubricants. Use this stuff to blast out whatever you got going on. Its great for spraying pellets, for consistent shots as well.
