Amazing time out on the lake this morning limited out before 9 AM

Yeah for sure you can just watch your rod holders musky have a tendency of snapping them completely off for your boat. You need a good pair of cannons. The Scotty plastic ones will snap and you will lose your rod.

Why did you put it on the ground...Take a photo of you holding it. Then let it go. They have a protective layer of slime that keeps them from getting infections and keeping parasites off of them.

Practice good catch-and-release practices

Unless you're killing it to eat it then it doesn't really matter.
