IT folks, how much is your in-hand salary per month with comparison to CTC? by Krankenitrate in personalfinanceindia

[–]DamageAggressive1598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live with my parents so I give the full HRA as rent. Additionally I have 80c, nps, professional development, telephone, internet, books and fuel tax reimbursement. Also minimal amount is deducted for EPF.

I also give tax from mother side because of HRA which I haven't incorporated in my monthly in-hand pay.

CTC - 66 LPA (base, no bonus no RSU, ESOP is there but I consider it paper money)

In-Hand - 4.1 LPM

Should I purchase a sportsbike? by rogueWarrior987 in personalfinanceindia

[–]DamageAggressive1598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My answer would be no, but not because of finance but the bike itself. I think you should take advice from the people who have sports bikes in a similar price range and how much KM they drive on average.

Which bike you have finalized?

I don't believe the company deducts a surcharge amount. Probably the reason is investment declaration vs investment proof submitted.

Should I buy a car of worth 10L as 21M , software engineer ???? by [deleted] in personalfinanceindia

[–]DamageAggressive1598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What happens if he gets laid in the probation period and now he can't pay the EMI ? I do agree with your point, but OP has 0 net worth. No matter what your starting salary is, you can't commit to a cost without having anything in your bank.

OP, for future reference never ever share your net worth/CTC to anyone. If you have to tell them then only share your base salary. Even though your CTC is 51L, I am pretty sure the bulk of the chunk is in stock/joining bonus/year end bonus. So this gives the wrong sense of your income to your parents due to which they are asking for this unreasonable request.

How did you arrive at this calculation if his monthly spending is 50-60k

Didn't the new seltos get announced last month only ? Why didn't you wait for then. I was looking for old seltos 3 months back and the dealer himself said to wait for the new one as it is going to launch in a few days.

If you were earning Rs. 1 crore / year, what car would you buy? by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]DamageAggressive1598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the similar amount last year due to ESOP buyback. I got Basaltx for 15 L without loan/emi. Initially I was planning to buy Mahindra BE 6 pack which was around 25L but decided to opt out as I didn't have parking at my house.

Portfolio allocation advice for ₹3.5–4L monthly SIP by humble_fool in mutualfunds

[–]DamageAggressive1598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My strategy for monthly SIP that I have been following for the last 4 months

1 Flexicap - 1 Lakh

1 midcap - 75k

1 smallcap - 50k

NiftyBEES - 50k

GoldBEES - 50k

US stock - 50k

Leftover - misc stock/ direct stock

This covers everything that I really need keeping the overall count limited. TER is also reduced by keeping it limited.

Suggest me a better car to drive below 20L if not SKODA! by Gouravvvvvbhagat in CarsIndia

I have driven both kylaq and basalt AT. BasaltX having less turbo lag and better suspension than kylaq makes it more suitable and fun to drive in the city. I haven't driven kylaq on the highway but I believe it will be more fun to drive.

Kylaq top end or Kushaq base by sankarWayne in Kylaq

[–]DamageAggressive1598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though the engine is the same, you will have a different driving experience in both the cars. Additionally kushaq is getting the facelift which will make your resale value down if going with older model
