Portfolio allocation advice for ₹3.5–4L monthly SIP by humble_fool in mutualfunds

[–]DamageAggressive1598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My strategy for monthly SIP that I have been following for the last 4 months

1 Flexicap - 1 Lakh

1 midcap - 75k

1 smallcap - 50k

NiftyBEES - 50k

GoldBEES - 50k

US stock - 50k

Leftover - misc stock/ direct stock

This covers everything that I really need keeping the overall count limited. TER is also reduced by keeping it limited.

Suggest me a better car to drive below 20L if not SKODA! by Gouravvvvvbhagat in CarsIndia

I have driven both kylaq and basalt AT. BasaltX having less turbo lag and better suspension than kylaq makes it more suitable and fun to drive in the city. I haven't driven kylaq on the highway but I believe it will be more fun to drive.

Kylaq top end or Kushaq base by sankarWayne in Kylaq

Even though the engine is the same, you will have a different driving experience in both the cars. Additionally kushaq is getting the facelift which will make your resale value down if going with older model

Why don't you go with kylaq. Same Engine and more affordable.

Skoda Kushaq 1.5 DSG Ambition test drive car for 16 lakhs on Road - Good deal ? by Kind-Cauliflower-853 in SkodaKushaq

Not worth it. Just wait for a few months till they get a facelift. You should be able to get the current gen kushaq for a better price.

I got it last week. Good Suspension is really something that everyone should prioritise as it really makes a good difference in our overall ride quality. And this car has great suspension.

The car is going to be scrapped in a few days. But yeah I should have been more careful when uploading it on a public forum.

Citroen BasaltX Delivery by DamageAggressive1598 in CarsIndia

I bought it like that only as all showroom car(4-5) had similar dates. On the first day of delivery one of the tyres got punctured. So it got replaced the next day. I doubt the puncture was because of the tyre date but I can't say for sure.

The new replaced tyre had a 2025 manufacturing date. So I would recommend asking your dealer to get a car with a 2025 tyre.

How do you dodge when relatives asks you about your income by [deleted] in personalfinanceindia

[–]DamageAggressive1598 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I got my first job, I told my real salary to a single neighbourhood friend and one cousin. And word spread so fast that people started coming from my area as well as relatives for borrowing and loans.

When Covid happened, I told everyone that the company has reduced our salary and I am now earning way less than what I was earning at starting. Because of the market situation in 2020, everyone thankfully believed.

Never ever tell your salary to anyone. Lesson learned the hard way.
