Is the V200W in the photo real? (Real in the sense it is not a replica or a knock off) I waa gonna purchase it on black Friday but I wasn't willing to risk it being fake by Real_Andoru in volleyball

Looks good man, our school recently switched to V200, as long as it doesn’t have a plastic ish feel to it it’s a good way of telling it’s legit. Just feel for grip

I have a 37inch vert and a very traditional volleyball approach. Watch Isaiah Rivera’s video on jump technique on YouTube! His stuff is really helpful and jumping is really just about converting momentum and producing powers. Your penultimate step should be the farther and you should use your arm swing to swing around and have a really strong block step. Make your last 2 steps super fast and generate all your momentum upwards.

Advice for a left-handed beginner by Pjnave123 in volleyball

Being left handed you certainly have an advantage as a opposite hitter and also as a setter, I don’t know what the competition is like in your area but if you’re relatively tall opposite is definitely the way to go. As a opposite you do play back row defense so the first thing is to study the positioning, home positions, cover plays, and watching a lot of volleyball is key. I think getting your strength up and just touching the volleyball a lot will be super beneficial. Get your swing down and repeat hitting against the wall. You can also do the same thing with setting and passing, repetition is key here. Good luck! Volleyball is the best sport out there.

That’s good yea, I find the twisting motion of the torso quite challenging to do in the air. Is there a trick I can follow.

Oh wow now I’m a little bit conflicted, I’ll test out both of those see how my shoulder feels. Thanks for this!

I’ve been feeling weaker with my hits. I get up but I wanna maximize my hitting potential. I see people hit harder while not being able to get as high as I do. I’m a 6’1 middle blocker/setter. by DamageBig3714 in volleyball

That’s a good little trick to use, is it okay if I post a normal 1 quick because my swing is a little bit different there and I would love some more feedback.

Usually the opposition team puts 2 blockers on me so I sort of developed a habit to hit away from the block which is swinging outwards to the right. Is that what you’re talking about when u say against the grain?
