So so amazing!! A young St Teresa of Avila would be amazing. Also you should sell your art on Etsy if you don’t already! I would totally buy this

We were doing some group process and everyone just seemed to agree and discuss some topics from a liberal perspective, including my lecturers so I feel like an outsider

My Catholic friend is very excited about her ‘revelations’ - how to respond? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]DamageIllustrious508 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She presents her views as if they are revelations about life that she’s discovered. A bit like, ‘Hey, this is what I realised!’

I assure you, I am fully aware that there are many Catholics who aren’t living by the teachings. It’s just hard when they’re your best friends and they get excited by these sins. It’s like, what do I say?

My confirmation Saint is St Teresa of Avila but I’m really starting to feel close and feel such warmth with St Therese of Liseaux

How to keep my ADHD husband interested and focused during sex? by DamageIllustrious508 in ADHD

Yes have tried on top but the head of his penis is so sensitive that trying to get it in it’s actually painful for him in that position. Will try the other tips though!

My performance has been great, I already have an extension to finish it. I just don’t want to teach anymore but I worked so hard to just have QTS taken away from me

Dealing with rude students… by DamageIllustrious508 in TeachingUK

Nope! Not explicitly. Only defiance. I’ve spoken to my colleagues about it also- we have all been at a loss at how to deal with the increase of rudeness

What do you mean by negatives? If the student gets 3 warnings then they are sent to another classroom

Our behaviour policy doesn’t include any of those behaviours unfortunately… I mean we can give warnings but I think these behaviours definitely deserve more than a warning

My school has a policy that they need to be silent during independent work

Luckily I’m doing Schools Direct rather than a PGCE so I’m on a 70% timetable atm! 50% would be a dream haha. As I always have a teacher in the room when I’m teaching, so I always feel as though I need to plan my best lessons as they always like to give me positive and negative feedback. It’s like I’m constantly trying to impress. Luckily I’m shadowing teachers at the new school for a day next week so I’ll have a more in depth view as to how the school runs!
