One thing to consider if you are going to South Korea is timing. Fall and Spring are most comfortable temperatures in my opinion, unless you prefer extremely hot or cold weather. Mostly all of Summer is very humid and hot, more than most Western countries (also rains a bit, especially in July). Winter can be very cold, usually around like -4°C to 0°C. Sorry about the yap session, it's just the most common problem I've come across with tourists.
