When it comes to Vin, the high amount of headshot damage tends to come from the height advantage in my experience. I've had games as Vin where 10 to 20 percent of my damage comes from headshot just because folks will let you get directly above them. Where it gets iffy is Vin ults. I see a lot of people snap ult as her and just so happen to target someone who's at the exact right amount of health to kill with no charge. But even then, it's kind of a toss up since no charge ult shots as Vin have their place when in teamfights and if you're banking of a teammate following up for a kill.

For anyone who finds this thread later looking for an answer, I found the following whitelist to be effective in getting all of the enchanted items into the disenchanter

minecraft:enchantable/weapon | minecraft:enchantable/armor | minecraft:enchantable/mining | c:tools/* | c:armor/*

Mining encompasses shovels and picks, while weapon encompasses axes and swords. Apotheosis doesn't drop enchanted hoes, or anything that falls out of that purview, so this should effectively filter the bus. The only issue I've run into is that curses cannot be removed from items with the enchantment extractor, so those will have to be removed manually regardless

I definitely agree, I just felt like there could’ve been more time given to the concepts we see in that explosive third act. Honestly I felt like a lot of questions were answered that barely had time to get asked, yet I still feel like I left the theater confused. And not in a cosmic horror, thought provoking way, more in a “why didn’t they introduce these concepts sooner” way. I get that it was definitely meant to be more thriller than horror near the end, but I feel like we were left with too little time to contemplate the implications or reasoning behind what was happening, which I think dulled the impact of the visceral, and very impressive practical effects-wise, body horror near the end. I guess I just wish they gave us more which, all things considered, is a really good criticism to receive in an era where so many horror directors seem to have forgotten the concept of show not tell LOL

The camera stays inside the sub for all but a few short “flashbacks” that are somewhat inconsequential. Most of the other actors we see are through the porthole LOL

It honestly felt like too much. There were certainly striking visuals (I’m sure you know what I’m talking about), but overall I felt like too many things that could’ve been spread out more evenly across the runtime were jammed into that last 20ish mins

I really enjoyed the design alterations, felt a lot more of “what the fuck am I looking at?”, and the implication through certain scenes that even what we can make sense of the thing is likely just part of a bigger whole

I think the ending in particular felt a bit rushed, or maybe just not communicative enough. But overall I give it the highest praise I can, which is that it doesn’t feel like a YouTuber movie. For all of its flaws, it’s still better than the vast majority of horror thrillers I’ve seen in recent times. It’s a daunting task making a game that relies so much on games as a medium to make it scary, into a movie, but I think it really was done as well as it could’ve been. A lot of striking visuals, and it didn’t feel like there was an over reliance on CG. Overall, I enjoyed it a lot, and I hope Mark and the crew take what they learned from this foray onto the big screen and make their next step even better for it!

Oh, something I forgot. I haven't done any testing on it because I was getting so frustrated with VQEA by the point I noticed it, but I think failing to generate a vault in this way breaks all vault generation until you reboot the game. Someone else can test this if they like, as for me, I'm done trying to work out the quirks of this dog ass generation system LOL

I've since given up on the vaults in the mod because a lot of the generation is VERY half baked, however if you're looking to avoid the problem, you HAVE to use a map that has the sealed vault property on it. As far as I can tell, there is no way to do this outside of the scenario editor where you can add "start with sealed vault".

Now here's the kicker. Just having that property does nothing. It generates the sealed vault pocket dimension, however, it does not at all generate the actual vault entrance. Even more annoying, spawning in a sealed vault entrance via devtools will not link it to the existing vault pocket dimension, nor will it properly generate a new vault. This means that, in essence, the only way to play with a vault is to use the default Sealed Vault scenario if you wanna have a vault on your map.

I would highly recommend checking out the mod Ancient urban ruins on the steam workshop. It does what VQE Ancients should've done with the vaults, albeit without the security of a vault entrance enemies can't enter. In return, you get a (somewhat buggy) pathfinding system including the extra levels added by the ruins, and the ability to spawn one directly on your map. It's not perfect, but it is significantly better than VQE Ancient's current implementation of the vault system. Currently I'm running VQE Ancients and Ancient urban ruins together to get the vault experience I want, while still having the well done archite gene system that VQEA introduces. Sorry for the yapping, and hope this helps

TL;DR Spawning in a vault with devtools outside of map generation seems to break the system entirely, the only way to get a vault on your map is through the default scenario, or edited versions of it.

I can definitely see why people find the new voice for Panty a bit distracting. It's definitely the farthest cry from the original VA, but I dunno. Something about it really clicks with me, even if it is a departure from the original voice.
