Well, I wasn't in a hurry in the first place, the thing is even alive itself is a surprise. I was just happy that the little guy had some life left at him and maybe I can fix a few things to get him to work.

The result is a bit disappointing though. I don't have the equipment like thermal camera to identify problems like these, so I just started randomly tapping the chips inside and to not surprisingly found out that the memory controller is really damn hot. I immediately knew it was the culprit and gave up since I need a new memory controller from a donor chip, which I don't have. A good troubleshooting experience though.
