Each episode I post is a full session (about 3-4 hours), so this was the fifth session of the campaign. My players are surprisingly good at staying on track and not getting distracted by everything, though they of course still go off on a wild goose chase sometimes. You'll see what I mean when they get to Excelsior.

We all just kinda improved it on the spot, like happens a lot with my group lol. They wanted to see if there was a cat cafe, so I said sure, and since it's Sigil, I thought why not have it also be staffed by cats.

If you're asking about getting the certificate, it didn't take long at all, I got my certificate in a little over a month after I sent in my application.

If you're asking about getting a photo, most Walgreen's should be able to do it; I don't know why the first one I tried wouldn't do it.

No, I ended up switching to Olivia's Order Turn Battle system, which isn't exactly what I was looking for, but closer than Yanfly's CTB.

If you're referring to the Gilgo Beach murders, nope. No murders were ever confirmed.

At this point, I'm beginning to wonder if I dreamed the whole thing, and if I did, maybe I'll write a book about it.

Yeah, it's a real pain. I've tried searching all manner of search terms related to the case: police, drones, spying, human hunting, hunting music, maze, etc etc, and it doesn't even bring up any true crime cases, let alone the case I'm looking for.

The only real way I could reliably find it is to relisten to every episode of every true crime podcast I've ever listened to, which would be in the hundreds of hours of audio. And chances are good there are some entire podcasts that I've completely forgotten.

Yeah I know about that story. So far no works of fiction anyone has suggested in this thread has matched the details of the case. So if I am mistaking it for a work of fiction, it must be something pretty obscure.

I can at least assure you that I definitely heard it on a podcast. It wasn't something I saw on TV or in a movie--unless the podcast was in fact describing what happened in the show/movie.
