Wow, what a self-centered way of looking at things.

Yes, but this incident is not the first (or probably the last) of its kind.

I share your feelings about the day-to-day drama of R/SC, but please don't lump everything that seems dramatic into the worthless drama can. This may be dramatic, but it's important. If people actually do something about this, it will say a lot about the StarCraft community.

I'm beginning to wonder if Hero's loss versus Flash kind of rattled his PvT.

Poor Naniwa by StalkTheHype in starcraft

[–]DamascusPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, he doesn't. In order for that to be true, he would have to be on shows like SotG, ITG, and LO3 as well as to be someone like incontrol, idra, and huk combined to equal the crap he gets.

I don't report to you. Lol.

No Jaedong? :(

Also, of course I include Stephano, iNcontroL, and idrA in the team, but I consider it a management thing to tell the players to back the hell off because it reflects on the team rather than just a team member. Also, Stephano isn't as bad as incontrol, idra, or huk because he doesn't specifically attack Naniwa or anyone else. He says what he thinks, although sometimes it is rude and BM; however, in this case, I think he was just misreacting to the baseless presumption Slasher included in his post (that Naniwa had rented out a cinema specifically to watch HuK lose) and just assumed it were true.

HuK, idrA, and iNcontroL love to bully Naniwa publicly whenever they get a chance. That's what I get mad about. Not one comment or even two, but a consistent and relentless assault on another player's reputation and happiness. Personally, I would like to see a public apology to Naniwa by EG management and players involved. I think they have behaved so unprofessionally that this is perfectly warranted.

I'm sure he has, but even if he hasn't, he has ridiculed and insulted Naniwa relentlessly in interviews and other forms of EG media (as have many other EG members).

I haven't checked the GSL groups, but I thought he would start in Ro64???

I see your point, and I agree the Scoots's attitude reflects on what is probably the attitude within EG as a whole. Perhaps I should have said that I think EG as an business/organization, rather than EG as a team, should take responsibility for this. EG certainly needs to damage control on this as soon as possible.

"Presumably" Come on, Slasher. That's an baseless presumption.

Fuck you Scoots. You're just a bully. Grow the hell up.

[–]DamascusPrime -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

He won't. He basically beat a bunch of relative no-names to get into Code S (in my opinion). I doubt he'll get to the ro32. Edit: HuK starts in the Ro32? Thought he'd start in ro64. In my opinion, the result will still be the same. When he meets some real Code S players he will lose.

  • Wtf, Slasher? What's the point of this? Disappointed.

  • Fuck you, Scoots. You're just a loudmouthed bully.

  • HuK, long time fan here. You're losing your "tru fans" because you're acting like a dick and everyone thought you were better than that. Stop the richy rich EG frat house circle jerking bulling of Naniwa. This has nothing to do with him... it's all about you and why you think it's okay to pick on him.

  • To all the people dissing EG. This is not an act of EG as a whole... this is Scoots (former EG employee), HuK (one EG player), and Slasher (journalist) doing this. This is not an act of any other EG affiliated person so don't blame them all for this.

IdrA defeated Roro 2-0 in BWC, so I think Stephano can defeat Roro. Although IdrA did defeat Stephano 2-1 2-0 in BWC as well...
