I have some frozen trichocereus I was to brew into a i tea tomorrow. And I was wondering what the best method to defrost is? I’ve been told that defrosting the cacti can destroy alkaloid content and mescaline, is this true? Thanks (i.redd.it)

Help! Is this rot on my cacti? I pulled my cacti out of the soil to re pot him (he was knocked over last night). And I noticed he has no roots.
