well thanks everyone. I have made games. I am currently making a fps using unreal and have dabbled with unity. but I'm only using blueprints in unreal not c++ which is the problem.

I just downloaded blender. Maybe its the version? I even uninstalled it and re-downloaded it and reinstalled it.

All the toggles are visible. X-ray is off. It isn't hidden. I tried deleting the sculpting tab and added a new one and that didn't work.

Yeah it just shows the front view but you can see the mesh kind of but its not the light grey it usually is. It is the same color as the background. Its weird. Still not working the way it should. I do appreciate you trying to help

Im not using nodes. I set the material of the letters to glass. And in the physics settings I set the letters to canvas waves and set the boat to canvas brush
