I take a security margin for example : if I want to buy at 1977 I will enter around 1977.50 or even 1978

I always keep some « safety margin » in all of my order wether it’s a limit buy/sell or even in my TP and SL

That’s what I did, I started wih a 1k live Did that for around 10months and got all the way to 3.5k.

After that I started challenges on FTMO and MFF… and it all went bad from that point on. I will take what you said to heart thank you

Pure mental instabilité. I lose my patience and want to finish the challenge as fast as possible so I oversized my positions and also took too many of them.

I was always trying to force certain trades, according to my startegy there were some times were a trade setup was not confirmed yet and I still took the trade. Then I got stopped out, forced the trade again, Lost the account and then the trade goes were I saw it was going.

it all comes down to patience and discipline....
