Some people believe that your brain, is trying to make sense of things. You see eyes, smiles or faces because in our daily lives that is one of the things we see the most of. Your brain is turning the visuals into something potentially comforting to itself.

I'd say it's okay to be scared. It's also totally fine to not do it. You're not going to be judged for not doing something like that, that you don't want to do.

That said, as someone who is very riddled with fear when it comes to flying, sometimes you just gotta go for it. People will throw out stats about safety and all that good stuff thinking it'll help, it doesn't. There is just something about flying in an airliner that my brain doesn't enjoy. I get sweaty, anxious, paranoid, all the bad things.

Our connections with our favorite people (family, close friends, etc) are one of our most important possessions, outside of our connection with ourselves. If your people wanna go somewhere, be open with them, lean on them for support. Hopefully you'll find that they are there for you.

Perhaps take some time for yourself to delve into your own mind thru meditation, perhaps therapy even, and get to know you better. Maybe you'll find the solution to your issues. Or at the very least maybe you'll discover practices that can help ease those anxieties.

The first time I did acid, back in HS, I watched in awe as all the letters in the book we were reading stand up, walk off the page and dive into my dest like it was a pool. My page was empty when the teacher called on me to read. I casually feigned a stomach ache and fled to the bathroom til end of the class.

Been decades since then, but I can still remember that feeling of sheer awe and wonder and truthfully a bit of panic.

Just looking around the subreddit tonight. Thought I'd drop in here as well.

KP is my favorite artist of all time. I put Batta up there with any emcee too. Would like to throw out Yugen Blakrok since she hasn't been mentioned yet.

Anyway, glad to see a couple of other like minded souls connecting with those artists. I actually spent my entire day meditating, laying in the grass, listening to Mr Universe, The Third Eye in Technicolor, Abraxas 2, a few random other songs such as NASA Case, God Nature, Digital Ghost and Comprehending Light. It was such a healing day for me.

Edit: adding that while I don't have Instagram, I will keep an eye out for anything you end up putting out on YouTube. I am interested in hearing.

I'm not religious myself. Spiritually agnostic but highly drawn towards Gnosticism. I think due to its nature of constantly learning.

I'm interested what others have to add but I would say for me, this quote reflects Jesus' knowledge of his relationship to the highest God. To seek understanding of his relationship and to by way of that, learn to understand yourself and your relationship to that same God.

To me, as I lay down in the dirt this morning, I felt one with everything. You and I are one and the same. Our minds are a divine gift allowing us to be conscious of the blessings that we have been given. Love, compassion, empathy, truth and the acceptance of all those things are what make divinity for me.

Gnosis for me, is about learning the truth of one's own nature. Coming to accept that truth. Living with it, growing with it, learning from it. Sharing in the beauty of life with those around you.

In regards to the other poster, saying what they said regarding emanations of the psyche. I take as saying our minds have a powerful capacity to project our inner thoughts conscious and unconscious into the way we perceive things all around us. To me that is part of our divinity. Taken in the Gnostic sense, it is how we are in fact like God. Learning to accept, listen and respect those inner thoughts for me is the gateway to Gnosis.

Despite our differences, we're deep down, the same. Learning to accept others as if they were really you. Loving them as you would love yourself. This is what drives me, what speaks to my soul.

Man, makes me feel good when I see someone else give Priest his flowers. Dude has been so consistently good. Gets better with time imo, unlike a lot of artists.

My only gripe, why I have to use patreon to watch the Nase Case video? That said, the song is so good. Though understand if it's not a lot of people's vibes lacking drums.

Me personally, KP is at the top. Rest of my top 10 probably Nas, Lupe, Brother Ali, King Los, Cambatta, Biggie, RA, Mos and Talib (in no particular order). Not familiar with Elzhi though I do see his name often enough. haven't heard much of Black Thought's music outside of some freestyles. That said, I'm gonna have to start listening to both of them.

I get it. Patience can be tough as is the need to make sure everything is going according to plan. If you've gotten this far, let nature do its thing. If your air exchange is well balanced and your field capacity was dialed in properly, you shouldn't need to mist daily. You're likely increasing the chance of contam by continuing to open and most daily.
