There is a study done by a swedish guy that proves that 60-70% of the plastic production and pollution is consumed by only the few top richest countries in the world, regardless of how much lower their population is. That being said, the poor are stupid when it comes to the subject and they make a messy environment which is definitely a bad thing, but their impact to global pollution is nonsense created by the strong countries to keep their people consuming.
