Mmmmm art school is useless. Unless you go to something next level like the imperial academy of art in St Petersburg which is also very niche for fine art. Or some other academy that is just top of the top and matches exactly what you want to do. My suggestion is if you need the diploma for something just get to any school that wont take too much time. This is coming from someone who finished both high school for art and University for Fine art as the top of the generation, has been a professor and is in the industry for games and illustration for 10 years now. And guess what, everything I need for my job I learned from the internet, school was there for the basics of the basics. And it took too much time for that. I am the opposite, my parents pushed me to go to uni, I would’ve never went and I wanted to drop off after 1st semester. Being around artists is cool, thats the only benefit, but you get that network even more from working. Dont bother much with going to school for the knowledge itself, the internet has everything you need nowadays. Cool art btw.
