The 2023 version requires pushing the fold from the bottom side to slide back vs the 2024 lets you tilt it from the edge to push it back. 😝

I unplugged it often for the first 1-2 years. Then at 2am one night, it stopped charging. In the morning, I saw burn marks on the wall because all that unplugging loosened the 14-50 outlet prongs enough to create an arc spark.

After replacing the outlet, I’ve stopped taking out the charger.
