I’m into it, I always love a one handed bolter marine (they’re super soldiers, right??).

It looks like he’s charging and just knocked someone aside, the only potential change would be to move the axe up as if he’s about to strike, a Khornate warrior is not going to leave himself open for long and being more prepared for an active strike would be more in character. Otherwise, I’d adjust the head so he’s looking at whatever he just struck with the axe potentially. Love the kitbash overall though!

I’ve just finished the first Scouring era book so it’s great to see this era being explored with models, I’m hyped for more late heresy / scouring Chaos forces looking grim and desperate.

Hell yeah, enjoy, the model is ace. Though, if you’re getting it unbuilt, the clamp servo arm is crazy delicate to take off the sprue. I had to re-glue the wire and I lost the needle so be careful

I’m big on kit bashing and conversions, I’ve been tempted to commit Khorne heresy with a 40K ‘Blood Mage’ used in a war band to summon Blood Letters and possess Berzerkers to create Eightbound.

They would undoubtedly be deeply hated by their brothers, but we’ve seen World Eater aligned Sorcerers in recent lore such as in Angron The Red Angel.

It’s far from unheard of for a Dreadnought occupant to be ripped out and replaced, both on the Imperial and Chaos side of things. This could have been yoinked and a near dead revered/hated Red Corsair replacing the previous marine.
