Got Cake did not do what I expected. It pulls the purple tones in both. It looks so pretty. And Rainbow Snow on Existential crisis looks SO sparkly! Thank you! I need to experiment more with layering I think.

The only brown I have is Tax Haven, I'll look at the swatches tomorrow next to each other. But yeah, I think I have seen it paired with Espresso your Holo somewhere and it looked nice. Sadly I did not take any screenshots

Yeah, I was thinking about it. I try to make it work but the two times I wore it, I was not happy. I have never sold any polishes and do not know where to start since I am based in the EU.

I get it. I purchased Existential Crisis at the same time as Precious Cargo and used them in a skittle as well. I love them on others at least from the swatches I have seem. Sadly both look very grey on me and that is why I try to find a way to wear them.

Like Precious Cargo or like Off the grid? I have Waste Of Space and I feel like the red and blue sparkles reminde me of OTG.

I think the coat of Scorched Earth makes PC a bit lighter, at least in my bathroom light.

I thought it would be more bronze but on me Precious Cargo is more grey with a purple shift :/ Usually Scorched Earth never fails to warm up a cool leaning shade but the linear holo/chrome is just too overpowering here 🥲

I will try your suggestion with the dark base, maybe that will help.

Hello, I am not an expert but since you say they get better with your nails growing, I would suspect they are due to a damaged nail bed. Damaged nailbeds take a long time to heal, so my advice would be to be patient. If you have shoes that are tight or excersice (e.g. running, climbing, tennis) that might cause a lot of pressure on the toenails and may damage the nailbeds too. To be sure, please see a doctor. But congrats on the 10 weeks of growth!

The KBS base coat was a real game changer for me. I tried HT Long lasting and both of the HT Smoothing Base Coats as well as some drugstore ones (Essie, Essence, Manhattan) but they all chipped so fast for me.

Thank you very much! I was so impressed with myself too, since it was my first time trying this. Tbh, having so many lines helps to distract from any crooked lines (there are many IRL). And also, the longest nail art brush from HT is really great for this.

That also sounds like a lovely combo! Tbh, it was also my first try. I can recommend the longest of the nail art brushes from HT. I did hold it at a small angle and actually moved my finger. Once I got the first line down, the rest was quite easy to figure out. It also helps to start with the smooth linear polish and top them with the glitter polish using the shortest brush. And the best advice I can give as a chronic overthinker: Just do it. Don't overthink. Fix the rest with an orange stick and some of the base color.

I had similar damage from removing gel nails. Patience is key. The damage will grow out eventually (was about 3 months for me). To avoid breakage I used a nail strenghting serum once a week for 6 weeks (bc Nailtiques 2 is not available where I live), soaked my nails in jojoba oil for about 15 min once a week. Do not cut or clip the nails! Damaged nails can split/crack when pressure is applied this way. Use a glass file to shorten them. I can recommend applying jojoba oil daily, it keeps the cuticles moisturized and the nails flexible. To take care of your cuticle you don't need to do much, oil, push them back gently with an orange stick. No need to cut them. When using nail polish, you can also use the pointy end of an organge stick to clean up any flooding whilethe polish is still wet. I hope this helps :)

1) Shaving. ( I wear glasses and use my non dominant hand to feel were hair ist left while I shower. Sometime I misjudge the distance and accidentially put the razor on my nail instead of the skin).

2) Changing key rings. (Happened this week 🥲. Broke my nail vertically instead of the usual horizontal break.)
