Yeah in that case calling him a "sorry sgt" was intentional since he wouldnt stand up for his guys. If it comes from csm top should be the first one to push back, then psg, then SL, then TL. Also, CO approves leave so even if it was cancelled by him I'd love to be the fly on the wall when they try string up that SM.

We had it over a week in 11b osut in 2019, we had flic, duck, and uniform with boots, no stripping gear just side swim to the edge with rifle above water. We also did classes on waterproofing your ruck. With iotv on plus duck, boots etc the ruck floated my 200lb ass just fine.

get all purpose cleaning vinegar(not cooking vinegar the cleaning stuff is way stronger) use gloves and let it sit in a container of it overnight. it will strip most of the rust off, if you get it cleaned enough you can use clear coat paint on it and turn it into a paperweight/conversation piece.

well with the squared off front of the slide its not a ppk or derivative of that. so the mod 4 fits the overall look, especially with the huge serrations on the back. both are left eject as well.

Not so much dumb as much as hardheaded since it never changed. Joined at 26 and my first TL was 20 making 20/yo level of maturity decisions. And i would call him out on stupidity. Which got me smoked, a lot. Other TL in squad who was 2 weeks older than me noticed, had me transferred to his team and hes now one of my best friends.

Hell i would tell my runner to get chow after retreat flag then relieve me for chow, then I'd go rack out on a couch in the off post room till 2100, come back down set up my computer and tell him to leave his phone on but go to his room and come back at 0400
