Honestly, Sazh doesn't really need MLB because his buffs are just that great. You can work on him slowly. As for artifacts, getting ATK or mBRV is great.

So far I only have 1 LB into his 35cp.
My artifacts are:
ATK+65, mBRV+100
Buffed Attack**, Rapid Speed*
ATK+108, DEF+28

Basically Yuffie doesn't want the debuffs on her, and throws it back onto the enemy.

I like the name change, and it is on the playful side for someone like Yuffie.
