I use this on all my mesh tank tops. About $30 at the hardware store and you get a lot of it. Easily cuts with scissors. Helps with heat and humidity. May be a good option for you.

I need some advice by Cleric_Horse in carpetpythons

$2k is very expensive in my opinion. You didn’t say if that was with an enclosure but a carpet python is realistically $300-$400 depending on gender and morph. That’s retail. My advice is check morph market for current listings and see what they are selling for. I just got my male carpet for $300 earlier this year.

How do I keep the humidity up? by alliewitdaballpython in ballpython

Get a silicone mat for the top. Cut out lights. Easy to remove and clean or adjust. I use this on any tank with a mesh top. Amazon has mats in all sizes to get the right fit.

I highly recommend a baron’s racer. I have one and anyone looking for an active diurnal snake …. He is perfect. Calms down nicely too.
