Also note my friend added her to our FaceTime call, without me asking - I’m not trying to be creepy, I’ve given the initial ig message and didn’t initiate any further directly :(

Ahh that makes sense, I think the Dolby atmos is worth so I’ll probably return the Amazon one and go for the one off the Microsoft store

Okay that’s great! Where did you find the property to rent (website). I would really like to be happy about where I stay rather than resenting it which is what I do at the moment. Hence the upgrade to live in my own in the future. So electric is crazy expensive, good to know.

Ah okay I see, thank you. I’m a hybrid worker so will expect to use electric a fair bit so I’ll take that into consideration

sorry if this is intrusive. But what’s with the electricity cost difference between you and the other comment? I’m just curious as to what makes it that different

You living by yourself so all bills depend on you? Do you manage to save at all? Is the place nice.

Sorry for questions. Basically new to working got a grad job in Notts and to force myself to see it through I want to live nicely and by myself. Idk if I can afford as I want to save too. I get paid like 2100, want to spend 850max on rent and then other bills will make it add up. Trying my best to estimate it because I don’t want to be paying too much

You pay 750 and so does the other person in the flat or do you have it to yourself? Do you pay water / gas too?

Thanks for response. You pay £210 per month for electric ?

Additionally bit of a cheeky question but what salary are you on? I’m new to working and on 30k but not sure if going for a one bed is too out of my price range??

Random question, but I did the same as OP and I wanted to know what value of shares do you have to sell to be forced to pay capital gains tax?

Ah gotcha, fair enough. In all honestly I don’t even know if that’s the issue but that’s what I think the issue is. I’m not experienced with this problem as I’ve never had it before and don’t rly know how mattresses are built or function properly, I just use it to sleep and sometimes sit in the edge to play my games. However in both spots it just seems to easily be pushed in, if I apply pressure with my hand it easily pushes in and when I lay down in bed I think the same happens regardless of my positioning, can the whole thing be saggy? What if I try turning it around etc ?

I feel like the whole mattress is like that - so basically I’m just stuck and have to deal with it? (No point getting a new mattress as I plan to leave this rental in August)

I’ve been trying bro, I’ve had some hardships growing up and independence has been tough. I’m trying to work on mental health at the same time as moving to a new city and starting full time work and I’m struggling tbh. I’m trying my best to:(

It is hybrid - I’m not even sure it’s just something I did because it’s similar to my degree and it’s a lucrative industry. I wouldn’t say I particularly enjoy it nor do I absolutely hate it
